Tilicho Lake (4920m), also known as the highest lake in the world, is located in Manang District in the Annapurna Region. It is turning into one of the most favourite trekking destinations due to the sheer beauty of the turquoise lake which is frozen almost all year. Tilicho Lake trek, when accompanied by a traverse across Mesokanto Pass (5467m), makes it an audacious trek only the brave hearts can take. A strenuous pass through the frozen glacial trails is bound to reward you with the spectacle of the Annapurna massif when on top of Mesokanto La (5467m).

The 16-days Tilicho Lake Trek with Mesokanto Pass offers a spectacular view. The view of snow-capped mountains and lakes along with the various ethnic culture, diverse landscape, and beautiful deep valleys. The trek provides magnificent views of different peaks of Annapurna Himalaya range like Lamjung Himal (6983m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Gangapurna (7454m), and many other mountain peaks. The route to Tilicho Lake has sub-tropical to a high and dry landscape resembling the Tibetan plateau. The Manang district is mainly inhabited by Manangi as well as different ethnic groups. The trekking trail passes through various settlements, waterfalls, terrains, and ancient monasteries. Trekkers also witness astounding rock formations, narrow canyons, yak-grazing settlements, and lush green forests during the trek. The pristine Tilicho Lake is the main highlight of the trek. The view of the lake with its turquoise water shining against the massive massifs is worth every struggle giving you the lifetime experience. The trek also walks you through a glacial route to cross the frozen pass of Mesokanto La (5467m). Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m) - A, D.
Our staff member picks you up at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival and transfers you to the hotel in Kathmandu. Overnight in Hotel.
DAY 2 Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation - A, B, L & D.
We go to visit UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu that includes Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu, and Patan Durbar Square. Later in the evening, we discuss the trek briefly and make necessary preparation before leaving. Overnight in hotel.  
DAY 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar (760 m) 6 Hours - A, B, L & D.
Leaving the capital city behind us, we take a drive to Besisahar following the narrow and paved road alongside the Trishuli and Marsayangdi River. Throughout the drive, we enjoy the roadside view from mountain peaks to green landscapes. Overnight at Lodge in Besisahar.
DAY 4 Drive from Besisahar to Chame (2,670m) 5-6 Hours - A, B, L & D.
We again take a drive from Besisahar to Chame. We pass by Marsayangdi valley relishing the amazing view of snow-capped mountains, villages, waterfalls and changing scenery throughout the ride. Overnight stay in Chame.
DAY 5 Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang (3,300m) 5-6 Hours - A, B, L & D.
We start our first day of a trek from Chame through the quite steep and narrow trail. We then enter the forested trail filled with pine and oaks trees after ascending through rocky areas. Once we reached Pisang, we can see the nice view of Mt Annapurna II to the south and Pisang Peak to the north-east. Overnight stay at Lodge.
DAY 6 Trek from Upper Pisang to Manang (3,540m) 7-8 Hours - A, B, L & D.
Today we head towards Manang passing through beautiful villages painted with Mandalas, monasteries and Lama Schools. Relishing the view of beautiful landscapes and Annapurna Mountains in the background, we make our way up to the village of Manang which is inhabited by Manangi. Overnight at Lodge.
DAY 7 Manang: Acclimatization day - A, B, L & D.
Taking we take a day off from trekking and utilize this day to exploring the beautiful Manang village. We take a pleasant short hike up to Gangapurna Lake or Bhojo Gumba. We also visit ancient monasteries, Chortens and learn about the Manangi culture. Overnight at Manang.
DAY 8 Trek from Manang to Siri Kharka (4,210m) 4-5 Hours - A, B, L & D.
Descending from Manang, we arrive at Marsayangdi River bypassing Chortens on our way. After crossing a suspension bridge over a Jharsang Khola, we follow the trail side by the river which leads us to Siri Kharka. Overnight in Lodge.
DAY 9 Trek from Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4,150m) 4-5 Hours - A, B, L & D.
Today we ascend through steep trails to reach Tilicho Basecamp. We also come across several monasteries, Chortens, and forest filled with juniper trees and sea buckthorn bushes on our way. After crossing a few streams, we make our way to Basecamp following a zig-zag slope. Overnight in base camp.
DAY 10 Visit Tilicho Lake (4,920m) then back to Siri Kharka (4,210m) 8-9 Hours - A, B, L & D.
Today is the main day of our entire journey. Walking through the slippery moraine, we make our way up to pristine turquoise Tilicho Lake situated at 4,920m. We can get the surreal view of Kangsar, Tarke Ghyang and Gangapurna Himal from the lake. After taking a few photographs, we trek back to Siri Kharka. Overnight at Siri Kharka.
DAY 11 Trek from Siri Kharka to Manang (3,540m) 4-5 Hours - A, B, L & D.
We retrace our trail to the village of Manang. Crossing over a suspension bridge at Jharsang Khola, we continue our trek moving alongside the Marsayangdi River which will lead us to Manang. Overnight stay at Lodge in Manang.
DAY 12 Trek from Manang to Upper Pisang (3,540m) 7-8 Hours - A, B, L & D.
Accompanied by the stunning view of Annapurna Range and Marsayangdi valley behind us, we trek towards upper Pisang through yak pasturelands, terraced farm fields, and picturesque village. Overnight at Lodge in Upper Pisang.
DAY 13 Drive from Upper Pisang to Pokhara via Besisahar, 7-8 Hours - A, B, L & D.
With all memories from the base camp, we leave upper Pisang and take a jeep ride to Pokhara passing by Besisahar. Throughout our long ride, we enjoy the stunning view of mountains, green landscapes, rivers and daily activities of locals. Overnight stay at Pokhara.
DAY 14 Sightseeing Pokhara - A, B.
We take a tour around Pokhara visiting famous places like David’s fall, Gupteswor cave, Mahendra Cave, Barahi Temple, and bat cave. We also go for a boat ride in Phewa Lake. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.  
DAY 15 Drive/Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu - A, B.
Leaving behind the beautiful city Pokhara, we catch our early morning scenic flight back to Kathmandu. Upon landing, we transfer you back to the hotel in Kathmandu. Later in the evening, a small farewell dinner will be held in local Nepali Thakali Ghar to celebrate the completion of the journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 16 Final Departure - B.
Drop off at Tribhuvan International Airport by our staff member for your departure.
