Tour begins from

This Central and Western Bhutan tour will begin in Paro. From here we will make our way to the capital city Thimpu followed by visits to Punakha, Haa valley and the famous tigers’ nest monastery which is situated atop a hill 900m above the ground. We will also be indulging in some local food. Those ones that have taken much inspiration from the neighbouring countries of Nepal and India; often being spicy and tangy in nature. There are also a number of local brews that we can choose from to enjoy, that have been made from local harvest.

The entire nation of Bhutan takes cues on living from Buddhism and its influences can be felt in every aspect of life. The legend of this monastery is that Guru Rinpoche was carried from Tibet to this location on the back of a tigress, thus giving it its name.
