Everest Base Camp Luxury Trek starts with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. After a brief stay in the valley, the trip begins. During your stay in the valley, you will be observing various tourist attractions which include the UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the durbar squares of Kathmandu, Patan, and Bhaktapur, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, and Pashupatinath. Furthermore, the flight to Lukla offers the mesmerizing views of the high mountains. You make your way through the deep river valleys and cross glacial rivers to arrive at places such as Namche Bazaar and Tengboche.
During this trek, you get an opportunity to explore the Tibetan Buddhist Thyangboche Monastery which is nested at the base of Mount Ama Dablam. Kalapatthar is one of the major highlights as from here you get the most amazing views of the snowcapped mountains. Moreover, it is a trek with moderate difficulty and March-May & Sept – Nov is the best seasons for this adventure.

Itinerary
The trip begins with your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Our company representative will come to welcome you at the airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel by the company van.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be escorted to the airport from where you will take the flight to Lukla. This is one of the most beautiful air routes in the world as you get amazing views of the high mountains and breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival in Lukla, you meet your crew members and after some time begin the trek to Phakding. You cross a few low suspension bridges and make your way to Phakding. Overnight at lodge.
You trek through the beautiful pine trees and pass through a jungle and get to Dudh Koshi. Cross the river with the help of a suspension bridge and reach Monjo village which is the entrance gate of Sagarmatha National Park. Then you pass through the last village of Jorsalle to reach Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is known as the gateway to Mt. Everest and is the main trading center in this region. Overnight at lodge.
This is a rest day for acclimatization so that you won’t face any problems ahead. Today you have two options. You can either take a short hike to Khumjung, a delightful Sherpa village above Namche Bazaar or you can enjoy the day exploring Namche Bazaar. You can check out the Sherpa museum or just stroll around the market. Namche Bazaar has souvenir shops, cyber café, bakeries, and restaurants and there is even a Hatt Bazaar on Saturdays.
You begin today’s trek with a pleasant walk through the forests. After walking for an hour you arrive in Phungithanga. It is a small settlement with a couple of tea houses and a small army post. En route you can enjoy the picturesque views of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Lhotse (8,501m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6,814m) as well as other many peaks. After having lunch at Phungithanga, you make a steep climb and pass through the woods to reach Tengboche. It is the home of the biggest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. Overnight at lodge.
The trek kicks off with a walk through the rhododendron forests. After you cross the bridge over Imja Khola, you will pass through the valley walls and then to the plains of Pangboche village. During this trek, you get views of Ama Dablam (6,814m), Kongma-Tse (5,820m) and to the north-Pokalde (5,741m). You cross the Lobuche River then make a descent. Then you make a steep climb to Dingboche.
Before the second phase of the trek begins, you take today’s day for resting purpose. It is necessary to get acclimatized to the high altitude conditions in order to move ahead. However, you can take a short hike 400m climb to the Nangkartshang Gompa which is on the ridge north of Dingboche. You can also take a walk to the beautiful village of Chhukung (4,730m). The Chhukung valley is wide and completely barren.
The trek today is more challenging as you head for the higher altitude. You pass Dungla with a steep walk over the top of a high hill. There are memorial stupas dedicated to the climbers and trekkers here. Then the next stop is Lobuche which is a small settlement. From here you can see the views of Mt. Lobuche East (6,145m) and Mt. Nuptse (7,861m). Overnight at lodge.
Today’s trek is divided into 2 sections. The first one is the trek to Gorak Shep. It is a small village sitting on top of a small frozen lake. After having lunch in Gorak Shep, you head for the Everest Base Camp. The straight trail to Everest Base Camp is harder as it involves rocky dunes and moraine, formed by the accumulation of glacial debris. On the way, you will approach the famous Khumbu glacier which is located on the slopes of Everest. Everest Base Camp is absolutely beautiful. You can enjoy the stunning views of Mt. Khumbutse (6,665m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861m) and Pumori Mountains. After exploring the Everest Base Camp, you return back to Gorak Shep. Overnight at lodge.
You wake up early and follow the dark climb to Kala Pattar ( Black Rock). It is a famous viewpoint which provides excellent views of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Nuptse (7,861m), Ama Dablam(6,814m) and many other mountain peaks. After enjoying the sunrise over Everest, you head back to Gorak Shep and have breakfast. Then you descend in the direction of Pheriche. Overnight at lodge.
The trail takes you downhill through the dry valley before reaching Pangboche. Then you cross a river downhill and pass through the pine and juniper forests to reach Tengboche. The trail descends to Dudh Koshi. Then you take an easy walk to Namche Bazaar and take rest. Overnight at lodge.
After breakfast in Namche, you descend downhill through the pine forest before reaching the bridge which leads to Monjo. After completing the formalities at the check post in Monjo, you walk to Phakding and have lunch there. Then you make the last part of the trek to Lukla. Overnight at lodge.
You take the flight back to Kathmandu from where your journey began. Due to the weather conditions, the flights are usually in the morning. It will be a scenic flight over the mountains. Our company van will come to pick you up at the airport. Then you will be transferred to the hotel.
This will be the day where you tour Kathmandu and enjoy its historical monuments, culture, and history. The company van will take you to different tourist attractions of the city including the durbar squares. You will stop at authentic Nepali restaurants for lunch and dinner. In the evening, you can either go shopping or just chill out at the bars in Thamel.
The 15-day trip ends here. Then we will drop you at the airport 3 hours before your flight schedule.
