Itinerary
On the first day, you will be attending flight from Kathmandu (Nepal) to Lhasa (Tibet). On your arrival at Lasha airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to hotel.
Next, after a delightful breakfast, we will head-off for Lasha city sightseeing. We will initiate with Potala Palace which is the winter adobe of Lord Dalai Lama. Then after lunch, we will be visiting Sera monastery and Norbulingka which comprises some artistic medieval architecture in the afternoon. And will be spending the night at 3-star hotel.
We will further continue our journey in Lasha city on the third day as well. After a delightful breakfast, we will visit Drepung monastery which is one of the significant Gelug monasteries of Tibet. In the afternoon we will explore Jokhang temple that features the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni and lasts back to 7th century. Later we will head-off to Barkhor market near the temple.

We will head-off towards Gyantse from Lasha via Yamdrok Tso Lake (4,441m) which is also known as Turquoise Lake, crossing Karola (5,010m), and Kamba La (4,794m). Gyantse is a small town and was once deliberated as Tibet’s third city. It holds a glorious heroic history of Tibet.
Early morning, we will depart from Gyantse towards Shigatse. In the morning we will be exploring Khumbhum stupa and Phalkor Monastery while driving from Gyantse to Shigatse. Later, we will be visiting Panchen Lamas’ Tashilunpo Monastery and Shigatse Tibetan market. You will be shifted to the hotel overnight.
With a delightful breakfast at morning, we will continue our journey towards Xegar (3,900m) from Shigatse. Xegar is a Chinese community which is the base destination to operate expedition to Mt. Everest or other iconic peaks. You will be shifted to your 3-star hotel. You will have a free day when you can rest or engage in other activities.
Furthermore, we will depart from Xegar towards Rongbuk monastery passing through Pang La pass. Rongbuk monastery is located below the gigantic northern face of Mt Everest at an altitude of (4,920m). It is the highest monastery in the world above sea level which adobes both monks and nuns.
After having light breakfast, we will initiate our trek up to Everest Base Camp. It takes almost 2 hours to reach North Everest Base Camp (5,200m) from Rongbuk monastery. You will get chance to enjoy sheer vistas of the iconic Mt. Everest from its northern side.
Drive to Nyalam (3,750m) crossing The Lalung La Pass (5,050m) & Nyalamu Pass (3,800m). O/N at 3 Star Hotel - A,B,D.
Today would be your departure day; you will be driven to Zhangmu from Nyalam and then shifted to the airport by our representative. You will be attending your return flight to Kathmandu. Any wish to further elongate the tour would be duly appreciated.
