The 10-day Everest Panorama Trek is the best short and sweet trek specially designed for trekkers who are limited on time; but still, want to enjoy the spectacular beauty of the different mountain peaks of Khumbu region. The journey begins with a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu since Lukla Airport is one of the most dangerous airports in the world. The trek provides an extraordinary view of different snowcapped peaks like Mt. Everest, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Cho Oyu, and many other snow-capped mountains seen from the Everest region.

Trekking through the dense forest filled with colorful rhododendron, oaks, pines and juniper trees. Trekkers get to experience the natural beauty of Himalayas.  Trekkers also trek through Sagarmatha National Park; home to many floras and faunas where trekkers may encounter different species of birds and animals on the way.

Since the region is rich in its own unique culture and tradition, passing through several Sherpa villages; like Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Phakding, and Tengboche. Trekkers get an opportunity to learn about the Sherpa culture, their lifestyle, and ancient history. The trekkers also come across several other small villages, ancient Buddhist monasteries, and Chortens and prayer flags. Everest Panorama Trek also includes a short hike to the Hotel Everest View operated at the highest altitude which gives a mesmerizing view of the mountains. While in Tengboche village, trekkers get to visit the largest and popular Tengboche Monastery which is also known as Dawa Choling Gompa surrounded by the panoramic view of the Himalayas.

Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m) - A & D.
Pick up at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to a hotel in Kathmandu for an overnight stay.
DAY 2 Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation - A, B, L & D.
We go to explore some popular sights of Kathmandu valley that includes Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhunath, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Later, we make necessary preparation for the trek. Overnight at Kathmandu.
DAY 3 Fly to Lukla (2840m), 40 min and Trek to Phakding (2,610m), 3/4 hrs - A, B, L & D.
We catch our early morning scenic flight to Lukla. Throughout the flight, we enjoy the amazing view of Himalayas. Upon landing in Lukla, we begin our first-day trek to Phakding passing through the several small villages from where we can see the stunning Mt. Khumbila. Overnight at Lodge in Phakding.
DAY 4 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 5/6 hrs - A, B, L & D.
Trekking alongside the bank of Dudh Koshi River, we make our way to Sagarmatha National Park. Passing through the alpine forest, we arrive at Namche Bazaar which is popularly known as the gateway to Everest. Upon reaching Namche we can see the beautiful panoramic view of Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, etc. Overnight at Lodge in Namche.
DAY 5 Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar - A, B, L & D.
We take a day off from trekking for acclimatization. To adjust to the high altitude, we take a short hike to Hotel Everest View located at the highest altitude, from where we can enjoy the view of Everest. We also explore nearby Namche visiting monasteries and get to learn about Sherpa and Buddhist culture from the locales. Overnight at Namche.
DAY 6 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m), 5/6 hrs - A, B, L & D.
Following the flow of Dudh Koshi River, we pass through the wonder villages and reach Sherpa village of Khumjung. We then continue our trek towards Tengboche through a forested trail. Upon reaching, we go to visit the largest Tengboche monastery in Khumbu region where we get to enjoy the full 360-degree panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and other mountains. Overnight stay at Lodge.
DAY 7 Trek from Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m), 6/7 hrs - A, B, L & D.
We rejoin our trail back to Namche Bazaar. Accompanied by the beautiful snow-capped mountains in the background, we trek downhill through the forested trail filled with rhododendrons. Passing several Sherpa villages on our way, we reach Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Lodge in Namche.
DAY 8 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,840m) 6/7 hrs - A, B, L & D.
We trek towards Lukla for our last day with lots of wonderful memories from the trek. Passing through the Sagarmatha National Park, we also may encounter different wildlife like Himalayan black bear, boar, etc. Walking past different villages on way, we finally arrive at Lukla. Overnight at Lodge.
DAY 9 Fly to Kathmandu and free day and farewell dinner - A & D.
We catch our early morning scenic flight and return back to Kathmandu. You can take the rest of the day in Kathmandu to relax or stroll around markets to buy souvenirs. Later in the evening, a farewell dinner will be hosted in a local Nepali restaurant to celebrate the completion of the journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 10 Final departure - B
Drop off at Tribhuvan International Airport hoping to see you again.
