Starting from Nayapul, the trek leads you through charming Gurung and Magar villages like Tikhedhunga, Ghorepani, and Ghandruk. The highlight of the journey is the early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210m)—one of the most famous viewpoints in Nepal. From here, you’ll witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Itinerary

DAY 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m) - A, D.
The trip begins with your arrival in Kathmandu. One of our representatives will come to pick you at the airport and then you will be transferred to your hotel.
DAY 2 Free day in Kathmandu and Trek preparation - A, B .
Sightseeing at Kathmandu and visiting the durbar squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan. You'll also meet with your trekking guide and receive a briefing about the trek, including gear checks and finalizing permits.
DAY 3 Drive to Pokhara (827m), 6 hrs - A, B.
In the morning, you will take a scenic 6-hour drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Phewa Lake is the heart of Pokhara and there is an abundance of hotels, restaurants, activities, and nightlife to be enjoyed, providing food and entertainment from all over the world, every night you can be sure to find some fantastic live music being played. You can relax by the lake or explore the vibrant town in the evening.
DAY 4 Drive to Nayapool (1,070m), 2 hrs and trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m), 4/5 hrs - A, B, L & D.
After breakfast, you will drive for about 2 hours to Nayapool, the starting point of the trek. From here, you will begin your trek to Tikhedhunga, a small village that lies in a beautiful valley. The trek involves gradual ascents through terraced fields and villages. Overnight at guest house.
DAY 5 Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2,880m), 5/6 hrs - A, B, L & D.
Today's trek takes you from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani. You will cross Bhurungdi Khola on a suspension bridge and trek to Magar village, Ulleri. Pass through the rhododendron and oak forests and reach Nangethanti. Lunch and some rest in Nangethanti. Then trek to Ghorepani through the forest. Overnight at guest house.
DAY 6 Trek from Ghorepani to Poonhill (3,193m), 1.5 hrs then Tadapani (2,630m), 4/5 hrs-A,B,L,D.
Early in the morning, you will hike up to Poonhill (3,193m), which is famous for its panoramic sunrise views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After spending time at Poonhill, you'll trek to Tadapani, a beautiful village surrounded by forests.
DAY 7 Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1,940m), 3/4 hrs - A, B, L & D.
The trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk is shorter and easier. You’ll descend through forests and charming villages to Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village with stone houses. Visit the Gurung museum and enjoy the cultural program performed on guest request in the evening. The village offers great views of the Annapurna South and Machapuchare (Fishtail) mountains. Overnight at guest house in Ghandruk.
DAY 8 Trek from Ghandruk to Naya Pool (1,070m), 6 hrs then drive to Pokhara (1.5 hrs) - A, B, L & D.
On this day, you will trek from Ghandruk descend to Syauli Bazaar and follow a clean river to Nayapool. This trek will take around 6 hours. Once in Nayapool, you’ll drive back to Pokhara, where you can relax and enjoy the evening in the lakeside city. Overnight at guest house in Pokhara.
DAY 9 Drive to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus B, A.
You will take a tourist bus back to Kathmandu from Pokhara, a scenic 6-7 hour journey through the rolling hills and valleys of Nepal. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. You can go shopping or just chill out at Thamel and enjoy the day.
DAY 10 Final Departure - B.
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to explore Kathmandu. Then, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
