Itinerary

DAY 1 Fly from Kathmandu – Nepal, to Lhasa – Tibet, China. O/N at 3 Star Hotel - A, D.
On this day, you will be flying from Kathmandu, Nepal to the city of Tibet; Lasha. After your arrival at Lasha airport, you will be shifted to your hotel where you can enjoy your free time.
DAY 2 Visit Potala Palace and Sera Monastery and Norbulingka. O/N at 3 Star Hotel - A, B.
We will initiate our day with a light breakfast and climb up the extravagant Potala palace which is the winter residence of Lord Dalai Lama. The palace dates back to 7th century and stupas and medication cave are its major attraction. After lunch, we will head to Sera monastery and Norbulingka which relishes the medieval architecture. The major attraction of Sera monastery is the “Monks Debate” which is held around 3-5 in the afternoon.
DAY 3 Visit Drepung Monastery and Jokhang Temple and Barkhor market. O/N at 3 Star Hotel - A, B.
We will continue our tour towards Drepung monastery after having a delightful breakfast at the hotel. It has been regarded as one of the great three Gelug monasteries of Tibet which were founded by Jamyang Choge in 1461 AD. In the afternoon, we will be visiting Jokhang temple which dates back to 7th century and features the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni. Near the sanctuary is Barkhor market, where one can experience Kora with pioneers and local people, and probe the old market.
DAY 4 Fly back to Kathmandu. O/N at 3 Star Hotel - A, B, D.
The fourth day is the departure day. You will be shifted to the airport and will be attending flight to Kathmandu Nepal.
